AptBridge communicates with the Intuit WebConnector (http://marketplace.intuit.com/webconnector/), a free application that was created to facilitate web-service interaction with QuickBooks. The WebConnector is loaded on your QuickBooks computer. You can download the WebConnector directly from Intuit. It's easy to setup. Once installed, we send you a small configuration file that tells the WebConnector how to communicate with AptBridge. From there, AptBridge instructs the WebConnector to query item and customer information, to match up with your e-commerce orders. When we download an order, we send it to QuickBooks via the WebConnector. Since the WebConnector calls out to AptBridge, you don't have to worry about static IP addresses or making changes to your internal Internet router. |
